What is Weight-Inclusive Nutrition Counseling?

Weight-inclusive (sometimes called weight-neutral) nutrition counseling focuses on health-promoting behaviors rather than intentional weight loss. While weight may change as a result of dietary modifications and behavior change, we do not prescribe weight-loss to improve health. Weight/BMI and health are not the same thing; people in all body sizes experience conditions like infertility, PCOS and gestational diabetes.

At The Food Therapist, we *do* hold space to discuss weight concerns and how those concerns may impact your food choices and relationship with food, movement and your body.
